People, Culture & Organisational Development Leadership
Throughout my career I have been drawn to enabling people, teams and organisations to succeed, while also managing or delivering products
Whether working in Scuba Training, First Aid Training, Learning & Development, Community Education, Product Leadership or Service Transformation roles, the common thread has been helping individuals and teams navigate change, build capability and create sustainable improvement.
My experience includes:
-
Supporting Community Education's transition towards more agile and product-led ways of working.
Designing and embedding new operating practices, governance approaches and planning structures.
Facilitating change in environments characterised by organisational uncertainty, leadership transition and competing priorities.
Influencing transformation without formal authority.
-
Creating capability frameworks, learning pathways and quality standards.
Establishing train-the-trainer approaches and scalable learning models.
Developing communities of practice and peer learning cultures.
Leading organisation-wide virtual facilitation capability during the COVID-19 pandemic.
-
Building psychologically safer team environments.
Supporting conflict resolution and relationship repair.
Introducing team charters, shared goals and reflective practices.
Creating conditions for collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
-
Coaching and developing managers and product leaders.
Supporting teams through ambiguity, change and organisational redesign.
Creating opportunities for collective learning and ownership.
Balancing support, challenge and accountability to help individuals and teams grow.
-
A recurring theme throughout my work has been understanding that many organisational challenges are not individual performance issues but system-level issues involving structure, incentives, capability, leadership alignment and culture.
This perspective has shaped how I approach organisational development, leadership, learning and transformation.
